Excellence in all respects is our goal. We breed primarily for dogs that have the intelligence and temperament to be working, companion and performance dogs that also are well-behaved family members in the home and out in public. We have one bitch currently in our breeding program: Int'l CH U-CDX Sunshine's Hope MD Cotton, UDX JH NA OAJ NAP NJP RAE, call name "Aspen". She has earned 24 OTCh points. Aspen has OFA Excellent Hips, OFA normal elbows, heart and thyroid and is CERF Clear, Optigen A, full dentition. We plan to breed her to dogs of similar quality. Conformation to the breed standard as it is currently defined in AKC breed rings is a secondary, although still important consideration. Aspen is a proven performer in obedience, agility, hunting and therapy dog work, with many American Kennel Club and United Kennel Club titles. She was the #1 dog in AKC Novice B obedience in 2005. She also holds an American Temperament Testing Society certificate and is a member of Therapy Dogs International, visiting primarily hospitals devoted to children.
